No tickets required. These run whether or not anything special is on — the standing rhythm of a Gilbert week.

Gilbert Farmers Market — Saturdays

Downtown in the Heritage District, under the water tower. Local growers, bakers, food trucks, and coffee — the Saturday-morning ritual for half the town. October through May it runs 8:00am–12:00pm; in the summer heat it shifts earlier, 7:00–11:00am. Go hungry, bring a bag, and plan the rest of the day around lunch.

Pickleball, trails & golf — any day

Gilbert Regional Park's 16 free pickleball courts are 5 minutes from the house, with open play most mornings. Power Ranch itself has 26 miles of walking and biking trails starting in the neighborhood, and Trilogy Golf Course is a 5-minute walk from the front door.

The Gilbert Year — Seasonal Anchors

Spring — Cactus League baseball

February and March belong to spring training: Sloan Park in Mesa and Salt River Fields in Scottsdale are both a short drive, with day games and 70-degree afternoons. It's the busiest season in the East Valley — book the house early.

Fall — Gilbert Days

Gilbert's hometown celebration lands in November, anchored by the Gilbert Days Parade down the Heritage District (in the list above whenever it's scheduled). Rodeo-and-parade energy, small-town edition — the weekend locals mark first.

Winter — snowbird season

December through February is why people come: patio weather while home is freezing. Holiday events in the Heritage District, the farmers market in its prime season, and long winter stays that turn a visit into a routine.

Summer — pool season, local style

The market moves to early mornings, the town slows down, and the private pool (plus the Power Ranch community pool, heated to 84° in the cooler months) becomes the main event. Summer rates are the gentlest of the year.
